What drew me to Veritas Collegiate Academy Budapest was the dual goal of rigorous academics and intentional investment in the personal development of students with a Christ-centered approach.

My time at Veritas has been challenging and rewarding. Being a part of the first-ever Classical Christian school in Hungary comes with a learning curve for all of us. While this has all been difficult, it has increased my ability to see things from another’s point-of-view, perseverance, deepened my understanding of Hungarian culture and grown my confidence as a teacher. My greatest joy at Veritas is being an osztályfőnök (Class Teacher) because I have gotten to know my class so well: I have deep and meaningful discussions with my students and I have an opportunity to share not only my opinion but also biblical insight to life’s quandries.

My hope and prayer for the future is that Veritas will continue to grow and become known as a place where people are not only challenged to think critically and express themselves eloquently, but as one where they are accepted and experience the gospel through learning alongside those who know Jesus and seek to live like He does…

Since joining the faculty at Veritas in 2020, my journey has been uniquely rewarding and deeply fulfilling. My goal was to give back to the community and educate a new generation of young people who know how to identify societal problems and have a keen sense of interest in solving them.

The opportunity to delve into subjects that span the critical spectrum of societal issues, including politics, law, and economics, has not only allowed me to leverage my background in political science but also to contribute to the broader educational mission of Veritas. This institution has provided me with a platform to impart knowledge that goes beyond textbooks, encouraging students to cultivate a humanitarian mindset. Through this process, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the growth of our students as they navigate complex topics, develop critical thinking skills, and emerge as informed citizens ready to make a positive impact in the world.

Veritas, with its commitment to a comprehensive education that addresses pressing societal challenges, has made my teaching experience truly special.
